I have been practicing Reiki since 1996 and am a Reiki Master in the tradition of the "Usui System of Natural Healing". 

Reiki is a healing practice that originated in Japan.  Translated, Rei means universal and ki means life energy.  Reiki is based on the idea that there is a universal life force energy that supports the body's innate healing abilities.  In a Reiki session, I will access this life force energy.  I will place my hands gently on your body with the intention of facilitating your own healing response.  Reiki often uses a series of different hand positions which are each held for two to five minutes.  I have found Reiki to be a powerful modality for stress reduction, relaxation, and overall health and well-being.  Reiki is also beneficial for people who seek relief from disease-related symptoms and the side effects of conventional medical treatments. 

 

I studied Intuition Medicine for four years with Francesca McCartney at the Academy of Intuition Medicine and additionally completed a five year apprenticeship in Hungarian Mysticm with Ken Ludden.  My personal work specializes in energy healings rather than readings.  In a focused energy session, I will work with you on harmonizing your grounding, aura and chakra systems and work on what you present in the moment, which may include energy contracts, past lives, the astral body, and internal energy systems.
